Toke Makinwa is officially divorcing Maje Ayida.
After their wedding, we were shocked when reports leaked that her husband had gotten his side chic pregnant. Last year rumours were rife that they were back together after they were spotted together at an event, but she soon put paid to these rumours.
Now she is making the separation permanent. Filing the divorce papers through her lawyers on March 9, 2016, she cited: Adultery, Cruelty and Irreconcilable Differences as her grounds for divorce.
The 15 page divorce papers have been leaked online and the case will be heard before a Lagos High Coutrt any day now. This comes less than a week after she addressed her marriage breakdown for the first time on her VLOG.
Below are a few of the claims Toke Makinwa is making against Maje Ayida & his baby mama Anita Solomon.
In the decree of marriage dissolution Toke cites not just her husband but his mistress and baby mama Anita Solomon.
Toke claims she lost a N20 Million endorsement deal with an unnamed telecommunications company due to the cheating scandal involving Maje Ayida and Anita Solomon last year.
Toke claims Maje never contributed financially to their household, including not paying their house rent on two occasions which led to their landlord embarrassing Toke.
Toke claims Maje was diverting funds to the UK for upkeep of Miss Solomon and their baby.
Toke claims after the cheating scandal her & Maje tried to work on their marriage but he carried on seeing Ms Solomon.
Toke claims Maje Ayida verbally abused her as well as threatened physical assault.
