Buhari appoints Ibrahim Kpotun Idris as new Inspector General of Police

President Muhammadu Buhari will today announce a former Kano State Police Commissioner, Ibrahim Kpotun Idris as the new acting Inspector General of Police.

The President is currently meeting with the new IGP for a presidential briefing. Mr. Idris is an Assistant Inspector General of Police who once led the Kano state police command.
