An angry mob has descended heavily on 5 men who were alleged to have connived, cornered and raped an 8 year old girl at the relief market Owerri..

The victim was reportedly selling sachet water around the market when the men allegedly called her inside an inner shop where they took turns to molest her.

It is currently unclear how the bubble burst and the news went round the market after which some market women and men mobilized and attacked the men.
