Fast rising Nigerian visual artist, Jelili Atiku, has a reputation for causing a stir anywhere he goes.
In a presentation of a 'political piece' Jelili, in January of this year was arrested along with six others by the police on the orders of a traditional ruler in Ejigbo for conducting themselves like hooligans and stoning the traditional ruler's palace, all in the name of 'arts display'.
Following his release from detention, Jelili has gone back to his shehanigans and created yet another crazy scenario with his art. This time, in Israel.
Jelili caused a stir while he dined at a restaurant in Israel, masked and dressed like a masquerade. Shocked diners at the restaurant who had never seen anything like that before immediately started taking pictures, while the man of the moment dined on unconcernedly.
