Jada Pinkett Questions Whether Black People Should Participate in the 2016 Oscars

The African-American community in the United States was pretty pissed off after it emerged that not a single person of color was nominated in any category at the 2016 Oscars. Not one. Not an actor, not a director, not an editor, not a sound or special effects person. No black person.

Many black Hollywodd celebrities have lent their voices to the chorus of dissatisfaction, but right now, Jada Pinkett-Smith’s is trending.

Earlier today, she sent out a series of short tweets lamenting the current state of affairs in Hollyweird and questions whether or not the Oscars is really something that people of color should be involved with. Read what she tweeted and let's know what you think.
