On Sunday around 8a.m a metally chanlleged man slaughtered his three children in Goru village Arewa LGA of Kebbi State.
According to Daily Post, Alhaji Muhammadu Dan Kaku, Sole Administrator of the LGA reportedly told journalists in Binin-Kebbi, the state capital that following the incident, the man was taken to Jega Psychiatric Hospital.
He said, “They were all male children between ages of five months and three years.“After slaughtering his children with a knife, he jumped into a well in order to kill himself but he was saved by the local government officials and the police.”
Confirming the incident, the state Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Nafiu Abubakar, in a statement, said the man is believed to be mentally imbalanced and is receiving psychiatric attention.
