These Photos of Accra, Ghana Will Blow Your Mind (A Blog Reader Experience)

Hello Lailans,
I was on an official visit to Ghana and I was amazed. Ghana is wonderful and the people from my assessment live in better conditions.
Every civil service office/ministry I have been to in Ghana has a Wifi. This is absent from Nigerian ministries. It does not exist even in Alausa.
I was in two departments on Monday and today, I have been to three departments, they were all connected to the Internet.
This is something we do not have in Nigeria.

 .
The most striking in all of these is that we did not book appointment to any of these departments. You simply get to the place, tell the secretary whom you want to see and you are allowed to see him or her.
No previous appointment booking.
No personal assistant to bribe to facilitate your seeing the Oga patapata
In Nigeria, special assistants are like gods. You should even see them talking to people they will not ordinarily measure up to.
.

One more thing I observed is that there are lots of young people in offices. This is opposed to the Nigerian system where tired bones are the ones heading and working in parastatals. The highest you see here are middle aged men and women.

You should visit Alausa Lands registry to appreciate what I am talking about. Most people just resume at Alausa, snore throughout the rest of the day, sell groundnuts and biscuits and close in the evening.

It's my first time In Ghana so I decided to pass through the presidential area. Like our own Aso Rock. Nobody is pushing people around for invasion of the privacy of the president through the very short fence. The fence around the area is as low as whatever you can imagine.

I am really impressed with Ghana. If I knew what their medical and health conditions are like, then I can comfortably say Nigeria cannot match up to Ghana in anything. I don't know why Nigeria keeps answering giant of Africa. Who gave us that title by the way?
